A message that belongs to the page rather than to a field.

Colour is not the only signal: every variant has its own icon, and the two
that report something wrong — `warning` and `danger` — carry `role="alert"` so
they are read out when they appear. The two that merely explain do not, because
a confirmation should not interrupt what is being read.
